“So we've got a deal, I let you get off at the next station but you get back with the eleven-o-clock express to London. Remember sweetheart, we have to leave for home tomorrow and the flight won’t wait for us.” My mother said as she fanned herself with her red Asian fan and looked out of the window of our first class train compartment.
“I will mother, don’t worry. When was the last time I was late?” I replied whilst checking my backpack as the train slowed down approaching the station.
“I know honey, just reminding you. Besides I hardly think you wouldn't want to be stuck here, after all, we live in the Caribbean.” She said as she gave me an affectionate peck on the cheek as the train stopped at the station, “ Sayonara sweetie. See you in London tonight, I’ll take you somewhere special tomorrow afternoon for lunch.”
